National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology

The NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology), an autonomous scientific society of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India which has the DOEACC Society running the different courses in fundamentals of computers including its “o” level course taken up by a number of candidates for obtaining a professional qualification in the field of Information Technology.

Duration of Course:                1 year (Part-time/Full-Time/)
Eligibility:                              12th /ITI Certificate course of 1 year

Course Structure

NOTE :- Application of .Net Technology/ Introduction to Multimedia/ Introduction to ICT Resources/ Practical/Project.


Exam Pattern

The candidates will have to appear and qualify in the theory examination for each module which is mostly held in the months of June and December respectively for all the candidates.

·         Theory Exam         : 100 Marks
·         Duration of Exam  : 3 Hours
·         Practical Exam       : 100 Marks
·         Duration of Exam  :  3 Hours
·         Project                    : Is Compulsory, Directly Submit To NIELIT Delhi through registered post,


Qualifying Marks:

The theory examination for each module under the fourth revised syllabus would be for a duration of three hours and the total marks for each subject would be 100. Two Practical examinations of three hours duration and 100 marks each have been introduced. Exams are conducted twice in a year one in 2nd week of January and the other in the 2nd week of July. Dates for the various activities connected with examinations will be announced on DOEACC website, well in advance of the examinations. Pass percentage To qualify for a pass in a module, a candidate must have obtained at least 50% in each theory and practical examination. The marks will be translated into grades, while communicating results to the candidates. The gradation structure is as below:-
    
(I)  85% and above: S Grade                  
(II) 75%-84%: A Grade
(III) 65%-74%: B Grade                         
(IV) 55%-64%: C Grade
(V) 50%- 54%: D Grade                         
(VI) Failed (<50): F Grade
